Ulandi and Minx founded Petrol & Perfume™ to address the significant gap they observed in the motorsport community regarding female representation and empowerment. Growing up in South Africa, they both experienced the challenges and stereotypes women face in a predominantly male-dominated industry. They wanted to create a platform that not only showcased the talents of female motorsport enthusiasts but also fostered a supportive and inclusive community where women could freely express their passion for driving.
Their vision was to provide exhilarating events that inspire confidence, promote diversity, and celebrate women’s contributions to the automotive world. Through Petrol & Perfume, they aim to break down barriers, challenge norms, and encourage women to take the driver’s seat both on and off the track, ultimately paving the way for future generations to pursue their dreams in motorsport.
